The conference on the Electric Power Supply
Industry (CEPSI) is Asia's largest and most prestigious conference
on the power industry. This biennial activity and principal communication
forum of the Association of Electricity Supply Industry of Asia
and the Western Pacific (AESIEAP) brings together decision makers,
utility officials, professionals, manufacturers and suppliers all
over the world, to share expertise and information on development
in knowledge and technology in the electric power industry. The
Conference which is rotated among member countries, has been instrumental
in the development of the power industry in the region through the
years.
AESIEAP is a regional non-governmental organization formed spontaneously
in 1975 during the first Technical Conference of representatives
of the industry in Asia and the Pacific. It has now 17 member countries
and region with 55 members , and 45 associate members.
