Shanghai
International Convention Center, another symbolic building, is located
in the heart of Pudong - Shanghai's Financial & Trade Zone,
close to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and opposite to the legendary
Bund along Huangpu River. It covers an area of 45,000m2
with total building space of 110,000m2. It has modern
convention halls and meeting rooms equipped with the latest audio-visual
facilities. A 4,500m2 Grand Ballroom and a 2,500m2
Press Center together with 22 meeting rooms of various styles and
functions with a capacity ranging from 50 participants to 300 make
SICC a perfect convention venue. The first conference held in Shanghai
International Convention Center was FORTUNE's Global 500 Forum in
1999. It was also one of the most significant venues of APEC Summit
in 2001. |
